That being said, a lot of people have questions about the Battlefield 2042 Specialists classes, the game modes, and the weapons used in the game. DICE had an awesome Battlefield 2042 briefing where they went into detail with all these things and more!

What are the Battlefield 2042 Game Modes?

Well, the Battlefield 2042 briefing discussed this in detail, but fan favorites like Conquest is coming back in epic proportions. The maps are bigger, and more players can be playing in a server, so they made a few changes to Conquest. One of them being the addition of “Sectors,” or different strategic areas in the map that are prone to heavy warfare, either vehicular warfare or infantry. Once a part of the team secures a sector, they can move on to another sector by either walking there or requesting a vehicle using an in-game tablet. What Else is New in Battlefield 2042?

Besides the huge map sizes and player counts (128 player servers on PS5, Xbox Series S/X and PC. 64 players servers on PS4 and Xbox One), there are a lot of other new things discussed so far. One of them being the Plus Menu, a quick way to change your weapon attachments on the go without having to re-deploy to change them. Essentially, a pop-up menu that lets you change the optic, grip, magazine, and ammo of a weapon.
