Battlefield 6 Reveal Date Announced

When is the Battlefield 6 Reveal?

We have finally got an official Battlefield 6 reveal date and I am eager to see what EA and DICE have to show at the event! The Battlefield 6 reveal date has been announced to be June 9th 2021 at 10am EST via this Twitter post. Fans of the Battlefield franchise have been waiting patiently for the game to be revealed for a while even while some outlets and “leakers” have been sharing “leaked” footage of Battlefield 6. Some of the leaks included screenshots, sounds, and even a trailer with a huge watermark blocking the main screen in an attempt to avoid copyright infringement.

You can watch my video discussion on the Leaked Battlefield 6 trailer details here:

What Can We Expect at the Battlefield 6 Reveal?

Battlefield 6 has been rumored to be one of the BIGGEST Battlefield games in the history of the franchise thanks to the power of next generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X. Not only that, but PCs are continuing to become more and more powerful with better graphics and central processing units. I am predicting to see the following at the Battlefield 6 reveal:

  • Bigger maps with higher detail and better lighting
  • 128 player maps in multiplayer (64 vs 64 in conquest mode)
  • Some sort of battle royale with upwards of 100 players
  • Immersive 3D audio on PS5
  • Huge scale “levelution” (destruction of buildings and landmarks)
  • Modern era or maybe a few years in the future (year 2025-2050)
  • Weapon progression like that of Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4

Now these are just my guesses, but I am really excited to see what is officially shown at the Battlefield 6 reveal event this June.

What Consoles Will Battlefield 6 Release On?

It has been said that Battlefield 6 will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. Though a lot of fans would have liked Battlefield 6 to be exclusively on next generation consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X. I don’t see a huge problem having the game also come out on PS4 and Xbox One so long as the game is optimized for PS5 and Xbox Series X and uses all of the power of those consoles.
